Ibuprofen Toxicity CalculatorCanineFeline
Calculate ibuprofen toxicity risk in dogs and cats. Estimates total NSAID dose in mg/kg based on tablet strength and number ingested. Ibuprofen is the most common over-the-counter medication poisoning in dogs. Determines risk of GI ulceration (>50 mg/kg), acute kidney injury (>100 mg/kg), CNS signs (>250 mg/kg), and potentially lethal multi-organ failure (>400 mg/kg). Also applies to Advil and Motrin brand products. Used for NSAID toxicology triage, ibuprofen ingestion emergencies, and anti-inflammatory drug poisoning assessment. Common query: 'my dog ate ibuprofen' or 'dog ate Advil'.
