Interpret blood glucose curve results for diabetic dogs and cats. Evaluates pre-insulin glucose, nadir (lowest) glucose, and time to nadir to assess insulin effectiveness and guide dose adjustments. Based on 2018 AAHA Diabetes Management Guidelines. Target nadir: 80–150 mg/dL (dogs), 80–200 mg/dL (cats). Nadir <60 mg/dL suggests Somogyi effect (counter-regulatory hyperglycemia). Used for diabetes monitoring, insulin dose adjustment, blood glucose regulation, diabetic ketoacidosis follow-up, glucose monitoring, and insulin efficacy assessment.
