Estimate horse body weight using heart girth and body length measurements. Uses the standard formula: Weight (kg) = Heart Girth (cm) squared times Body Length (cm) divided by 11,877. No scale required — only a flexible measuring tape. Heart girth is measured around the barrel just behind the elbow; body length is measured from the point of the shoulder to the point of the buttock (ischial tuberosity).
