Calculate cross-species drug dose extrapolation using allometric scaling. Based on the principle that metabolic rate scales with body weight to the 0.75 power (Kleiber law). Formula: Target Dose (mg/kg) = Known Dose (mg/kg) x (Known BW / Target BW)^0.25. Useful for extrapolating doses between species when species-specific pharmacokinetic data is unavailable.
