Acetaminophen Toxicity CalculatorCanineFeline
Calculate acetaminophen (Tylenol, paracetamol) toxicity risk in dogs and cats. Estimates total dose in mg/kg based on tablet strength and number ingested. CRITICAL: cats have no safe dose — a single regular-strength tablet (325 mg) can be lethal to a cat. In dogs, hepatotoxicosis occurs above 75 mg/kg and methemoglobinemia above 200 mg/kg. Used for toxicology assessment, Tylenol ingestion emergencies, APAP poisoning, and deciding treatment urgency. Common query: 'my cat ate Tylenol' or 'dog ate acetaminophen'.
